About the Role
Responsibilities:
Utilize a child-centered approach to learning by developing and implementing a comprehensive Montessori program based on materials provided by Lily Montessori.
Establish and maintain a meticulously prepared environment that optimizes learning and growth for students.
Assess children's abilities, interests, and needs, and regularly communicate progress to parents and colleagues.
Foster collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
Actively participate in staff meetings and engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with team members to ensure classroom materials are clean and well-organized.
Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the childcare center.
Requirements
Requirements:
Must possess an AMI (Montessori Association International Degree) OR AMS (American Montessori Society) certification.
Meet all provincial requirements for employment in the childcare field.
Hold a current certification in Standard First Aid and infant child CPR Level C.
Recent Police Record Check ( Less than 6 months)
Maintain up-to-date immunization and health assessment in accordance with local Minister of Health Requirements.
